It is so wonderful that you are planning to join our Wooster TaxAide family where we provide free tax preparation for individuals or families in our community. It is a rewarding experience and it takes many volunteers with different roles pulling together to allow us to provide this service to over 650 people and allow them to have an accurate return that provided over $500,000 in federal and state refunds last year.
The following documents are designed to help you get started with the training and requirements. Be patient–it can be confusing because there are two different sites with training and “tests” on them: AARP has training on being a quality site, and the IRS has training and tests for each role. We’ll walk you through each step here. But we are here to help!
